Candle Sleep Spell
This is a spell to help one sleep at night.
Take a white household utility candle into your bedroom. Light it without saying a word. Walk counterclockwise around your bedroom three times. As you do this, project simple protective phrases into the walls, floors, and windows such as: "keep me safe" etc. Next, walk clockwise three times in silence, meditating on positive, restful phrases. Finally, blow out the candle, whisper the word "sleep" and turn in for the night.
This spell does not need to be repeated in full each night. Instead, simply light the candle for a few minutes each night, then whisper "sleep" again before getting into bed. When the candle is completely spent, repeat the original spell with a new white candle.
Peaceful Sleep Spell
10 Cardamon pods
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 oz rosemary
dried peel of 1 lemon
4 small bags
Cast your circle. Light a white and pink candle, place them on your altar or work area. Crush the cloves, cardamon and salt to a fine powder. Blend with the herbs and put in bags. As you are making the bags concentrate on peaceful memories and beautiful thoughts. Seal the bags. Close your circle.
Hang the bags at the corners of your bed. As you hang each bag, say:
Sleep be with me
Peaceful sleep, Restful sleep
Let my mind be eased
Let my body be calmed
Wings of darkness,
Let the sight of night and dream
Be clear, be quiet,
Let my troubles drift away and let me dream.
Stop Nightmares Spell
scarf (white or cream colors work best)
pinch of basil
pinch of ground sage
lavender or vanilla oil (whatever you find more soothing)
Lay the scarf out. You will be putting spices into it. Place the spices (ground sage, 4 cloves, basil) into the scarf and add 2 drops of oil. Gather the scarf at the top (like a moneybag) and tie it with the ribbon. On the outside of the scarf draw the nightmare that plagues you (e.g. spiders, falling, whatever). Place the scarf under your pillow and sleep with it there.

Wrap handfuls of uncooked oats and dried camomile flowers, and a pinch of mandrake in a square of cheesecloth and filter a hot bath through it. Light some Egyptian kyphi incense and bathe while deeply breathing the aromas. In bed, envisage yourself in a field of camomile, like Dorothy surrounded by poppies in the Wizard of Oz. Think of lying down in the fragrant daisies, lulled to sleep by their fresh, sweet smell. Beneath the ground, the underworld; and above, in the blue sky, Witches and rainbow-hued elementals fly by on unimaginable missions. You lie drowsing in the fragrant flowers, following one of the passers-by, then another, tracing their patterns in the ether and following to the tunnel leading to the deep blue yonder.
Deep Sleep Spell

To ensure a deep sleep, fill the sink with warm water before going to bed every night. Add five to ten drops of lavender oil, and splash the water on your face, the back of your neck, your wrists, elbows, stomach, knees, and ankles. Alternatively, you may shower and then take a hot soaking bath in a lavender tea. To make the tea, boil a quart of water. Remove from heat and add a half-cup lavender flowers. Steep for five minutes then strain. Pour the lavender tea into a tub filled with hot water and enjoy.
